Meet the Proud Pitch Wear Team

We didn’t start Proud Pitch Wear to sell hoodies or T-shirts.

We started it because I wanted to change the story, because even after Two European Titles in the last three years — after everything the women’s game has proved — girls are still being turned away in playgrounds. They’re still being treated as an add-on at clubs rather than a priority. And honestly, it’s precisely why this matters so much

For too long, “you kick like a girl” has been used as an insult. But kicking like a girl means strength. It means courage. It means teamwork, passion, and pride. 
It means showing up — even when the world hasn’t quite caught up yet.

Football has the power to change lives. It builds confidence. It creates friendships. It gives girls and women a place to belong. And I wanted to create something that reminded them of that — something they could wear with pride that says: you belong here. You’re part of something bigger. And if you need proof of how powerful that message can be, just look at the Lionesses. They’ve shown that football isn’t just about winning — it’s about lifting each other up, leading with kindness, and showing positivity in sport. They’re real, relatable women — the kind of role models every girl can see herself in. 

And that visibility matters. Proud Pitch Wear isn’t just clothing. It’s a movement. It’s a message. It’s about changing the conversation — not just in sport, but everywhere. Because if we can shift how the world talks about girls on the pitch, maybe one day we can shift how it talks about women in boardrooms, in parliament, in pay negotiations, and in every other male-dominated space. Change starts small — but it doesn’t have to stay small.

If even one girl puts on one of our tops and feels braver, stronger, or more seen — then that’s why I’m doing this.
